Dear Mr. Kerry: You’re a dolt.

k thx

Without even a quick look to check numbers, here’s how it stacks up for some of us:

Hitler

  • 20,000,000 Russians;
  • 6,000,000 Jews;
  • Miscellaneous Poles, Slovacks and on and on.

Assad

  • we don’t really know, but perhaps it’s in the hundreds or a thousand.

Hussein

  • who really knows for sure, because America, as it is doing now, obfuscates. We all know how much damage Saddam Hussein did on 9/11 to endure Butcher Bush’s crowd and its indignities. For those ignorant of the facts, the answer is none.

And just for the hell of it, let’s throw in the United States of America and see what we come up with.

  • Vietnam, courtesy of Henry Kissinger’s favorite Domino Theory country at the time, wherein Indochine would go all communist, all the time;
  • Iraq, thanks to the monumental dumbassery of Butcher Bush and his ignorant cronies;
  • Oh, and let’s not forget to add Cambodia and Pol Pot/Henry Kissinger into the mix;
  • And on and on. If you want numbers, go look it up. They’re horrendous in America’s own right.

Or wrong.

Hitler? Really? You had to drag out Hitler, as many Americans do when comparing people in their own country to a favorite bogey-man? Why, I’ll never understand, but for the most part, it’s probably ignorance. Deliberate ignorance of fact is not unknown in America.

Why not some American bogey-man? Oh, that’s right. America is the good guy in all of this, just waiting to bomb the shit out of more innocent civilian men, women and children to show the world how righteous it is.

God bless America in its pursuit of even more enemies around the world.

Please don’t tell anyone in Congress about this…

because we all some a few of us know it wouldn’t be long before it would be implemented on this side of the ocean. For all we know, perhaps it has already been implemented in, you know, some country on this side of the ocean. A simple executive order would do it, for the most part, and Congress wouldn’t ever have to be consulted. Nor would the electorate.

Sound familiar?

Quoting an outside news source is now illegal. Linking to a news site is illegal. Opposing the government on your personal blog, of course, was already illegal, and those who did so were routinely prosecuted. –the Daily Dot

How’s that War on Drugs been workin’ out for ya so far, Amerikuh?

The New York Times revealed Tuesday that the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) has access to the entirety of telecom giant AT&T’s phone records.

the Hemisphere program enables swifter and more reliable tracking of drug dealers. The program “simply streamlines the process of serving the subpoena to the phone company so law enforcement can quickly keep up with drug dealers… –salon.com

What dumbassery.

Of course the American government and the DEA can quickly keep up with drug dealers by using a vast and illegal database. That’s why the importation and use of drugs is way, way down and rapidly decreasing. Because, you know, the government is listening, and the drug dealers are so very afraid.

Unrelated, but I have to say it anyway:

Already the American Constitution lies in tatters. Judges and courts spout corporate and government propaganda in their judgements. The middle class has been raped, pillaged and destroyed by greedy corporations. Politicians of all stripes are bought, sold and traded by big business and the lobbying machines like nothing more than the cattle they are. Mainstream media, owned by giant corporations, ignores and abdicates their responsibilities, then lines up to see who can kiss more government ass, faster.

The biggest joke of all: Ignorant citizens, ad nauseum, hold high three-word signs, much photographed, proudly declaring, We the People.

Doesn’t anyone know the rest of it?

The next two presidential elections will seal the fate of America. If not one of them will begin to put an end to the abject stupidity, there will be no end to the road America has chosen to travel. Ever. Sadly, many nations will be drawn in to Amercia’s nightmare, as others have in the past during related excursions by other countries.

I really hope I’m wrong on this, but I don’t think I will be.

New Hampshire – Live Free or Die

What a joke. Not only that, but they’ve capitalized it.

Proposed legislation in New Hampshire, that self-proclaimed bastion of freedom or death, would be sure to keep ’em down on the farm. Jesus, what’s with those people?

Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person, including a business owner or employee thereof, shall be required to provide services, accommodations, advantages, facilities, goods, or privileges to an individual if the request is related to the solemnization, celebration, or promotion of a marriage and providing such services, accommodations, advantages, facilities, goods, or privileges would be a violation of the person’s conscience or religious faith. A person’s refusal to provide services, accommodations, advantages, facilities, goods, or privileges in accordance with this section shall not create any civil claim or cause of action or result in any state action to penalize or withhold benefits from such person.

Live free or die indeed.

You won’t find this in the Alberta media

Cables sent from the U.S. embassy in Ottawa in 2003 and 2008 show that Alberta politicians offered to export power to the United States using excess electricity generated by oil sands facilities. —thetyee.ca, Wikileaks Shines Light on Alberta’s $16-Billion Electricity Scandal, by Andrew Nikiforuk

Are you looking for information on the Alberta government’s draconian Bill 50 and why it was passed? Are you fed up with the answers given by lying political hacks of the Alberta government?

What’s Bill 50, you ask?

That bill took away the public’s needs assessment hearings and shifted all decision making to the back-room of Alberta’s provincial cabinet. —thetyee.ca

Gutless media meekly believes Alberta government lackeys

As far as we know to date, no one is missing. However, there are many things about northern Alberta’s Slave Lake forest fire nightmare that are troubling.

  • For a small fire, it seemingly engulfed the town very quickly, wind notwithstanding. Given that high winds aren’t all that unusual all across Alberta, was the incident commander completely unaware that this could occur?
  • What was the role of the fire weather meteorologist? Were current, up-to-date forecasts of wind and weather being provided/available to the incident commander? If so, why weren’t they believed? Were the forecasts completely ignored, if they were in fact available?
  • Was the town’s volunteer fire department given any notice of the impending fire control problems that were soon to threaten and engulf the town? If not, why not?
  • Was the town’s volunteer fire department able to mobilize, given what appears to be a complete lack of communication from the fire’s incident commander?
  • If there was a fire break around areas of the town, why wasn’t it freshly plowed or tilled to prevent the grass from burning up to the perimeter?

And that’s just the beginning. There’s more. Much more.

  • Once everyone was in a relocation centre, why were television sets not allowed into the centres? It’s 2011. People need and want to know what’s going on in their communities, especially a community that has been devastated by a forest fire. Keeping people ignorant in the face of a disaster is definitely not good public relations. Why was the government trying to keep their citizens ignorant? Are they hiding something? Are they covering something up?
  • It has now been a week after the fire, and only today people are being given bus tours—bus tours, for Gods sake!—to view the remains of their homes. The impunity of it astounds me.
  • Digital photography is everywhere in 2011, even in Alberta. Everywhere! Why weren’t aerial photographs taken last week, printed and then stitched together? It would have let people wracked by disaster, despair and doubt have a view of their town that they were unable to see on censored television. That, to me is complete and utter disregard for the citizens the government is sworn to serve.

The media is not without blame. Once the fire and smoke cleared, they continued—and still do continue—to show images of dark clouds overpowering the town, or on the horizon. Well, folks, that’s old news. How about showing some of the smoking ruins that the government claims make the town too dangerous for its citizens to enter?

  • Why does the media not show some images of those smoldering ruins causing all the problems?
  • Why does the media meekly continue to broadcast the government line?

Furthermore:

  • Why is it taking so long to get power back to the town?
  • If the water plant was not destroyed, why is there no water by now?

And on and on.

Does anyone have any answers as to why the government of Alberta has such a chickenshit, clueless and gutless attitude to the people it is sworn to serve?

And why is the media not asking any questions?
