It's sort of a zoo up here - but I have no idea why. For example, Toronto ( a pretty large city by anyone's standards) had only two locations for mass inoculation. Yup. Two. Go figure.

Where I am, it's a gamble. There's plenty of product, but we stand in line for hours and hours, outdoors - men, women, children, the infirm - only to be told that the location has run out of product by 3 p.m. Sounds to me like a distribution problem, or, a line-up at an outdoor toilet facility where the paper has run thin.

Oh well. It's only the flu, but because of media-inspired panic, the clinics are out-gunned by the healthy who think they should be getting what they deserve before anyone else.

By comparison, your program sounds rather tame.

And yes, our hockey team is down a few too. There'll be more, I'd guess.

I am SO sick of hearing about it. (And I'm extra pissed about H1N1 because it's taken out one of our hockey players.)

Our county is doing H1N1 vaccine clinics. Very orderly, getting all the high risk groups done first, and in the order the CDC recommends. I really thought they were doing it right to make sure the folks that *need* it, get it.

Every time they do a Facebook update of which clinics are at capacity for the day, etc, someone comments all tweaked that they're doing it in order of risk group...
