Here’s a more informative report on the insult added to injury of Bush & Co.’s recent visit to Iraq courtesy of the BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation). Are there any actual reporters left in America?
Well, there are more than a few, but unfortunately the MSM doesn’t allow much divergence from the bottom and/or the party line. How unfortunate that clear, direct, incisive and forthright reporting has, for the most part, been relegated to the internet. Just try getting anyone attached to a major network to even admit that the “internets” exists beyond their own web portals, let alone that it has any meaningful contribution to make to their old boy network of entrenched and partisan journalists/corporations and their viewpoints.
Perhaps that’s why many of the old-style newspapers are having such a hard time attracting and keeping subscribers. Perhaps that’s why the ‘tubes videos have had such an increase in popularity and viewership. Perhaps that’s why television has, for the most part, been relegated to reality shows that have no semblance of reality.
But what do I know? I’m merely making observations based on my limited personal experiences.
